A general purpose cold applied emulsion for joint painting, specially formulated for use on both vertical and horizontal joint faces on asphalt and macadam surfaces. The cationic formulation provides a fast break, and hence earlier weather resistance than anionic products. This material meets the guide specification in clause NG 6.5(2) of Appendix NG 6 of the Highways, Roads and Street Works Act 1991. Edgefast cold joint paint is also available in a pouring grade.Features & Benefits:

All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust and debris.
Stir well with mechanical stirrer before use.
Pouring Grade - Apply by pouring with a suitable pouring bucket or can to achieve a thin even coat.
Brushable Grade - Apply with a dampened soft bristle brush to achieve a thin, even coat.
DO NOT USE APPLICATION UTENSILS THAT HAVE PREVIOUSLY CONTAINED ANIONIC BITUMEN EMULSIONS.
Edgefast Cold Joint Paint is a water-based product and is only resistant to rain when it is fully broken – water will attack the wet film. Do not carry out application in damp conditions.
Breaking time will normally be 20 – 30 minutes at 15⁰C
