HardMaster W675 is a high-performance, fast-setting, multipurpose concrete repair material and non-shrink grout that is ideal where rapid strength, durability and low shrinkage are desired. Can be used indoors and outdoors, also in wet areas, applied using similar methods to cement based materials.
Features and Benefits:•High-Strength – 3 times stronger than most concrete•Fast – Sets in 15 minutes, structural strength in 1 hour•Durable – formulated for long life in critical applications •High resistance against many chemicals•Excellent bond directly without bonding compound•Structural for repairs and new construction
For repairs, application surface shall be clean, sound and free from any materials that may inhibit bond, such as oil, asphalt, curing compound, acid, dirt and loose debris. Roughen surface and remove all unsound material. Apply HardMaster W675 to a surface that is thoroughly saturated with no standing water.
The use of an OX Pro Mixing Paddle 80 x 400mmis recommended for thorough mixing. Organize work so that all personnel, equipment and tools are in place before mixing. HardMaster W675 is mixed with 560ml to 940ml clean water per 5 kg bucket. Use less water to achieve higher strength values. Do not exceed the maximum water admixture of 940ml per 5 bucket. Place water into the mixing container and add HardMaster W675 while the stirrer is running. To achieve a lump free, uniform consistency, mix for 1 to 3 minutes. DO NOT re-temper mixed material.
Apply HardMaster W675 using traditional construction methods in thicknesses from featheredge to 100mm. For heavy loads and vehicle traffic, minimum thickness will vary. Not intended for high heat applications above 150°C. For deeper sections, bulk up mix with clean 10mm aggregate up to 30% by weight. For overlay applications, a minimum of one test section should be prepared to evaluate the suitability of the materials and procedures.
If rapid curing is required, or the weather is colder, accelerated curing can be achieved using the additive HardMaster Fast. When additional fluidity is required, HardMaster Flow should be used.
Do not apply HardMaster W675 at sub-base or environmental temperature below 7°C. Temperatures above 20°C will reduce the working time. HardMaster W675 may be applied in temperatures ranging from 7°C to 32°C.
Begin water curing as soon as the surface has lost its moist sheen. Keep exposed surfaces wet for a minimum of 1 hour and maintain a continuously wet surface until the product has achieved sufficient strength. When experiencing extended setting times, due to cold temperature or the use of a retarder, longer cure times may be required.
